War of The Worlds
Apropos of #4 below. 1. Easily available for download and usable in a multitude of ways by a creative teacher, the original broadcast of War of The Worlds. 2. A little harder to get (for compare and contrast activity)-the excellent 1953 movie version starring Gene Barry. I have both. BTW Gene Barry and Ann Robinson appear in a cameo as the grandfather and grandmother of Mr. Natural Seratonin at the end of the new Steven Speilberg production. Gene Barry was born Eugene Klass in Manhattan in 1920 (exact whereabouts unknown). In 1930 he is living at 1939 53rd St. (Borough Park, Brooklyn). His father is a jeweler. Later Gene becomes class valedictorian at Lafayette High School (Sandy Koufax's alma mater). Is it possible that Dr.G might have hit against Sandy in games at the Parade Grounds? Koufax?-probably Mossad. The collage above (click to enlarge) shows what 1939 53rd St. looks like today.

That's incredible! How did you find that out?
I did some research on Gene Barry on the web and found out was his real name was. Then I used ancestry.com
to look for census data on the Klass family. While I was in Borough Park shopping for a fancy Jewish cowboy hat for Israel B. I looked for the address and took a picture.
Did you get any NCLB per session for doing that?
Goddamit no! I wish I thought of that.
Is this good or bad for the Jews?
How much did you pay for the hat?
