Podcast 2 Follow Up
I think I have a literacy angle figured out. I took the pictures from the Clinton Street tour and brought them into a Word Template.I left space for Naphtali to write his own description on a hard copy. Later we will edit and then type in the finished product on the digitized copy. I can take a screen shot of those word files and use them as images to insert over the sound track in iMovie. Working with still image video tracks I find is preferrable then incorporating video files. (there are limited digital movie cameras available and the video files are time consuming to load and space hogs). Only problem is wild guy Naphtali got the heave ho from the summer program. I'll have to track him down at the suspected Faith Based Center. I'll wear my yarmulke for protection.

Big Deal, you used that method before-you big fat pseudo intellectual.
I did, but I didn't use it as part of an iMovie project-so that's a new wrinkle. Besides, do you think the two bagger Linda could come up with anything remotely close to that.
True, Linda hasn't gotten past PowerPoint 101. She also gets her wardrobe from the Walmart close out outlet.
I hear you sista!
The folks at Gotham could think of that
No, they can't. They're busy teaching and leading too many institutes. And don't tell me Kyle could, he's too busy stealing buzzwords.
No, that's not true. I'm busy creating BS like this:
Ways to address a range of adult learners Strengths of specific method Needs assessment / data driven before pd Engage adults in own curriculum Hands on activities / experiential learning Treated as adults and professionals/ respecting previous knowledge and experience Collaborative and professional conversations – engage teachers in an intellectual levels Time for process and implementation and reflection New Strategies should be modeled Building teacher networks for share and support Teacher should be part of the planning of PD.We need to think about how we plan for Adults so that we have time to plan, process, implement and reflect IBS – the Itsy Bitsy Steps – process
The NSDC standards for Staff Development 5 – 3- 1 1. Applies knowledge about human learning and change. Make sure that session is differentiated to meet the range of learning 2.
