Now everybody’s getting caught up in the system-Yeah, we’re here to tell you life ain’t fair
Chorus
Night night till the storms blows over
Yeah cause it’s all over

Hurricane Katrina was a tragic accident.
It wasn’t meant to be
Just mother nature
Wind and water
Homeless, broke people only have a quarter
Drawing in the water and people ain’t doing what they want to do
Babies ain’t getting born
Houses were torn
After the storm almost everyone was gone
3
Imagine swimming outside
In a flooding rain
Looking at destruction going insane
can’t focus
Can’t think
like you ain’t got no brain
Katrina was unstoppable
Nobody dare step in her lane
I am praying to God
Like what’s the odds someone helping me
I do not got no pool
But I am swimming in my backyard

New Orleans is what we trying to save.
Chip in some money make no delays
Cause the young ones is back with
Some brand new days
New Orleans’ getting better now
They getting cheddar now
We about to blow up
Everybody settle down

5
We da young ones and we really tight
When we heard about Katrina we had a really big fright
We like family and we got a lot of heart
Not even Katrina can break us apart
This reminds me of a tragic story called 9/11
And this thing only happened when I was 7
We made a lot of songs and we can’t stop now
At the end of this show young ones take a bow
6
Imagine a place with more water than air
Yeah looking for help but you not going to find none here
Looking behind what’s coming from the rear
I’ll give you a hint it’s despair
Yeah, tropical storm getting heavy
Now you wishing they had stronger levees
You manage 5 more minutes but your body can’t take it
Now you realize you can’t make it
