PS 110: The 1852 Dripps Map
We make use again of the 1852 Dripps map, as part of a slide show, to provide the backdrop for the lives of those who lived the in the PS110 area of the Lower East Side. The school was built on the land that belonged to the Willett family. Marinus Willett was the first sheriff of New York after the country gained independence from England.

On the annotated image, Lewis Street is indicated as Willett Street. PS110 is bounded by Broome, Cannon, Delancey and Lewis Streets. Willett is two streets to the west (left) of Cannon.
