On February 10, 2008 500 masked protesters in New York, Washington, London and Seattle held up boomboxes and chanted the Stock Aitken Waterman lyrics which Astley made famous. "Never gonna let you down!" they roared, in a live rick-rolling of the Church of Scientology.
