While in Philly during the New Year's weekend I caught my first glimpse of the Mummer's Parade. I kept asking myself,"Isn't this politically incorrect? Mostly Philly white ethnics getting a chance to be minstrels and strut? The guy pictured is safe to say not a big fan of Cindy Sheehan. Nevertheless, the whole Philly experience sure beats the crap out of watching a parade in New York-No fighting for space and food at reasonable prices. The cooks from the Ritz Carlton were selling huge egg and sausage sandwiches for $5 on Broad Street. Here's the "podcast"
