The sounds of summer flooded Wall Street Wednesday to kick off the seventh annual River to River festival.
Instead of just the usual opening and closing bell, New Yorkers in the Financial District were treated to the world premiere performance of the Buglisi Dance Theatre.
"We tried to bring all these different elements of the music, the dance, the dialogue together to make this event," said Jacqulyn Buglisi of Buglisi Dance Theatre.
"We have everything from live music, dance, to cultural events, in a variety outdoor venues – beautiful parks, plazas, and it's a lot of fun, and there's something for everyone," said Suzy Changar of River to River Festival.
