Oh What A Beautiful Morning: Curtains For The Bosox Children Of The Corn

There's a bright reddish haze on the meadow,
There's a bright golden haze on the meadow,
The corn is as high as an elephant's eye,
An' it looks like its climbin' clear up to the sky.
Oh what a beautiful morning,
Oh what a beautiful day,
I've got a wonderful feeling,
The Red Sox are going away.

A Humid Day As The Yanks Left Town

A humid day as the Yanks left Town
Had me low and had me down
I viewed our pennant chances with alarm
The Arlington Park has lost its charm
How long, I wondered, could this thing last?
Has the age of miracles just gone and passed,
For, suddenly, there's a team to fear
And through the humid Texas Town
No Yankee sun was shining anywhere
